Thanks to the sample grabber and flow-cell, the sensor provides and end-to-end measurement solution.
The polymer content in the water leads to a strong tendency for fouling which is where ultrasound sensors are superior. Olpas TSS sensors are therefor suitable for use in filtrate or centrate of dewatering installations.

(bio-)fouling and oily medium
Superior resistance to (bio-)fouling.
The presence of oily or greasy materials does not hinder the measurement as the ultrasound pulse can penetrate such depositions on the sensor surface.

Air bubbles
The sensor is also available for usage in centrate with large amounts of finely dispersed air bubbles.
Usage of the sensor in degassed centrate, improves the resolution of the sensor.
